MAN, (man), n.; pl. Men (men) (AS. mann, man, monn, mon) Pejorative term designing the being of both sexes whose main characteristics are a) standing upright on his hind legs, b) an adjustable thumb c) a relatively large brain capacity. For inst., in the expressions: I am a man, you are a man, he (she) is a man, we are men, you are men, they are men, "man" is always used pejoratively. Warning: men are not monsters, however, and an easy test allows to distinguish between them. Simply remember: MONSTERS ARE INOFFENSIVE.
